What a hidden gem this place is! Had the most fabulous experience here. The food was absolutely delicious, great selection of drinks (make sure you check out their frozen cocktails!) the waitstaff were professional, attentive, and kind. The vibe was the perfect balance between lively yet pleasant. Management is clearly doing something right here ????. I will definitely be coming back soon.

I have been trying to come here forever and their steak frites special lured me in! the baguette was so fluffy soft and amazing I had to get one to go! The lemon gin they use for a french 75 was amazing! I look forward to going back soon. Danae the bartender was so friendly and helpful with choices and service. thanks for a great time!

What a beautiful experience celebrating my Birthday at this restaurant was!!! The food was delicious, service and staff were very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was all you need for a perfect birthday celebration, romantic yet still with the magic spark that brings you joy, be it in the extra effort in the food delicacy or the extra effort to make you feel special on your special day. I got a Birthday Cake in the form of a Swan, it was a swan covered in chocolate, and I loved it. Everything was perfect, I would definitely recommend spending an evening there with a delicious dinner and a special someone or your family and friends! Will definitely go back.

We made reservations for brunch after recommendations from a stranger on the Boston Ferry and we are so glad we did. The Duck Confit Hash, Turkey Avocado, and Bucket of Bubbles champagne and juices was incredible. The staff was so professional and extremely nice. They even checked a suitcase for me so it wouldn’t be at our table while we ate. Incredible experience and we will definitely be back the next time we visit Boston!

We ordered the French Onion Soup, the Steak Frites, and the Madame Rouge. Delicious!!! My favorites were the NY Strip and the Madame Rouge. The steak was perfectly cooked to order, the seasoning tasted delicious, and it included a yummy butter sauce. The Madame Rouge with their delicious cherry on top was scrumptious. Thank you for this concoction! And our waiter - wow! Santiago was charismatic, informative, kind, and professional. His presence and service greatly added to our wonderful experience. Thank you.

Service here is always great. Bartenders and wait staff are top notch and very friendly. Juan served us and he was very attentive but not in a pushy way. He gave great suggestions for food and drink based on our preferences. The French onion soup is the best in Boston. The decor and vibes in general are great here. Would recommend!

The french onion soup was out of bounds. Drinks were wonderful. Our bartender Danae was so amazing that we didn't want to leave. Theres another side to the bar thats more of a restaurant and the whole vibe of the place was so adorable

I've been to Rochambeau a few times to get drinks at the bar, and it was my first time eating there! I've always seen their steak room deal, which is about $36 for an 8 ounce steak, unlimited fries, a salad, and a baguette. It's a great deal because you definitely won't be hungry after. The steak was surprisingly cooked very well for a strip steak. Great sear, great flavor. Fries are solid, salad is nothing special, just lettuce. The best thing about this restaurant is the ambiance and the service. Sitting at the bar, we got to talk to some of the bartenders and they're always so accommodating! Sometimes, I just tell them what kind of ingredients I like and they create something based off of that. It's also so beautiful inside and located conveniently at the Prudential Center. I would love to try some of their main menu stuff. Amazing vibes!

Rochambeau offers a distinct menu from their normal, involving steak frites with bottomless fries, salad, and bread for $36/person. This so-called Steak Room gets packed at night, so I recommend a reservation. The steak itself, an 8oz strip steak, comes with a pan sauce - simple, savory, tender, and effective. The salad, romaine with sherry vinaigrette, seemed straightforward but fresh and well-seasoned. The thin, crisped fries arrived liberally salted (to my perfect taste). The bread, small-sized baguettes, arrived warm and fluffy. The butter did not arrive refrigerator-cold, a plus. All come in unlimited quantities.
